Walnut Blasting and Carbon Cleaning

Why it matters here

Direct-injection BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Volvo, and VW engines never wash the intake valves with fuel. Oil vapor from the crankcase cooks into a ridge behind the valve. A spray can of cleaner does not cut that ridge. Walnut media, a sealed blast, and a controlled vacuum do. We own that machine here.

Intake work that starts as a misfire on engine diagnostics should be proven first. If cylinder three is down on compression, blasting will not fix a valve that already died. We do not sell carbon cleaning as a cover for an engine that needs repair. Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, and Genesis DI engines can be assessed the same way when they show the same ridge.
